C	Christiaan B on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 10 dagen heb ik op deze camping verbleven. Regen, wind en zonneschijn, alles kwam voorbij maar door de prachtige ligging aan het water altijd genoten. Voordeel is ook dat de camping heel ruim is opgezet. Het ligt heel rusting aan een doodlopend weggetje. Je moet in het dorp wel even opletten om niet verkeerd te rijden. I stayed at this campsite for 10 days. Rain, wind and sunshine, everything passed by, but always enjoyed because of the beautiful location on the water. Another advantage is that the campsite is very spacious. It is very quiet on a dead end road. You have to be careful in the village not to drive wrong.

De aankomst was wat apart, we zijn geholpen door mensen in een caravan, de eigenaren hebben we niet mogen ontmoeten. De ontvangst was prima. Ik moet erbij zeggen we hadden wel storm en regen. De plaats is prachtig en daar betaal je ook voor. Het sanitair is voor de schoonmaak dicht van 11.00u-12.30u, wat vrij lang is als je er gebruik van wilt maken. Douchen 3 minuten voor 50 cent en afwas kost 20 cent. Wij zijn geen vaar liefhebbers en hebben ons in Sneek goed vermaakt, het scheepvaartmuseum daar is erg mooi. Als je van varen houdt is deze plek perfect, omdat het aan het water ligt. We have been at this campsite for 3 nights. The arrival was a bit different, we were helped by people in a caravan, we were not allowed to meet the owners. The reception was fine. I have to say we did have storms and rain. The place is beautiful and that's what you pay for. The sanitary facilities are closed for cleaning from 11 a.m. to 12.30 p.m., which is quite long if you want to use them. Showering 3 minutes for 50 cents and washing dishes costs 20 cents. We are not boating enthusiasts and had a good time in Sneek, the shipping museum there is very beautiful. If you like boating this place is perfect because it is on the water.

Hoewel alles zo goed als winterklaar was gemaakt, had ik het rijk nagenoeg voor mezelf en stond ik prime position aan het meer. Barbara was super flexibel en meedenkend. Helemaal toen we even wat hulp nodig hadden met het veiligstellen van bijna 3,5 ton woongenot uit de blubber. Goede laarzen mee in oktober is geen overbodige luxe? Camping Flapper is bovenal een super fijne plek om te zijn, prima sanitaire voorzieningen, een mooie gezamenlijke binnenplek in de grote schuur met keukentje en spellen etc, prachtige vergezichten, direct aan het water, eigen haventje, gezellig café/restaurant om de hoek met lokale specialiteiten en leuke mutsen:), buurt supermarktje op loopafstand en mooie zitplekken op en rond de camping. Kortom alle ingrediënten voor een top kampeer avontuur! Een pareltje in Gaastmeer! As the closing post of the season, I stayed at this campsite for a few days. Although everything was almost winterized, I had the realm almost to myself and I was in prime position on the lake. Barbara was super flexible and thoughtful. Especially when we needed some help securing almost 3.5 tons of living pleasure from the mud. Good boots in October is not a luxury Camping Flapper is above all a very nice place to be, excellent sanitary facilities, a beautiful communal courtyard in the large barn with kitchen and games etc, beautiful views, right on the water, private harbor, cozy café / restaurant around the corner with local specialties and nice hats :), neighborhood supermarket within walking distance and beautiful seating areas on and around the campsite. In short, all the ingredients for a top camping adventure! A gem in Gaastmeer!
