★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Eenvoudige camping, gelegenheid voor beschutte plekken of plekken met weids uitzicht, vrij rustig, eenvoudig sanitair. Minpuntje is zicht op naastgelegen grote silo’s. Goed gelegen voor fietstochten in regio, zoals naar mooie plaatsen als Usquert, Warffum en Middelstum. En uiteraard Menkemaborg. Must zijn prachtige monumentale boerderijen aan de Wadwerderweg en Streeksterweg, tussen Uithuizen en Warffum!
 Simple campsite, opportunity for sheltered places or places with a panoramic view, fairly quiet, simple sanitary facilities. A minus is a view of adjacent large silos. Well located for cycling in the region, such as to beautiful places such as Usquert, Warffum and Middelstum. And of course Menkemaborg. Must are beautiful monumental farms on the Wadwerderweg and Streeksterweg, between Uithuizen and Warffum!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sehr freundlicher Empfang , 8€ für einen top gepflegten Rasenplatz und 2€ für Luna's ? Leckerchen ,ich war sehr gerne hier . Für jeden Nordkap "NL" Radreisenden ? zu empfehlen.
Very friendly welcome, € 8 for a well-tended lawn and € 2 for Luna's ? treat, I really enjoyed being here. Recommended for every North Cape "NL" cyclist ?.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wir sind auf Durchreise und haben uns spontan für diesen Platz entschieden. Es war die absolut richtige Entscheidung! Sehr netter Betreiber, unkomplizierte Anreise (auch spontan) und mehr als faire Preise. Hier ist alles ruhig und sehr angenehmen zum entspannen. Sanitär ist genügend vorhanden und in einem guten Zustand. Strom war bei uns etwas weit weg, aber war kein Problem. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!
Ps: Nachts schleichen sich einige (liebe) Katzen über den Hof. Vielleicht nicht unbedingt was, für katzenschäue Hunde.
We are passing through and spontaneously decided on this place. It was absolutely the right decision! Very nice operator, uncomplicated arrival (even spontaneous) and more than fair prices. Here everything is calm and very pleasant to relax. There is enough plumbing available and in good condition. Electricity was a bit far away for us, but it wasn't a problem. We will be back definitely!
Ps: At night some (dear) cats sneak across the yard. Maybe not something for the cat-shy dogs.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Een heel mooie camping aan de rand van Uithuizen. Goed en schoon sanitair. Leuke gezellige eigenaren. Ondanks het feit dat het af en toe regende hebben we een heel mooi weekend gehad met vrienden van ons. We zijn op een aantal heel mooie lokaties geweest. Het stadje Winsum, de haven van Noordpolderzijl en ook de Noordkaap (noordelijkste puntje van Nederland). Helaas, het wadlopen ging voor ons niet door ivm dreigend onweer.
A very nice campsite on the edge of Uithuizen. Good and clean sanitary facilities. Nice cozy owners. Despite the fact that it rained now and then, we had a very nice weekend with friends of ours. We have been to some very beautiful locations. The town of Winsum, the harbor of Noordpolderzijl and also the North Cape (northern tip of the Netherlands). Unfortunately, the mudflat hiking was canceled for us due to an impending thunderstorm.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I love this campsite! Lovely rural setting, hot showers, free wifi, very relaxed vibe, friendly owners. After staying in so many awful, soulless holiday park style campsites, this was a real treat!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very calm camping place, and the owner kindly pulled our heavy camper out of the soft earth with his tractor where we might have been stuck for eternity.
And he rescued us with humor, charm and kindness.
This is definitely a place I have bookmarked and will return.
It is a lovely campsite. Relaxed, quiet and uncomplicated. This is the kind of site we enjoy!
