About Campus De Ruyter
We are specialized in student housing, our locations are designed and made for students so that they feel at home from the second they enter their new home. When talking about accommodation we do not just visualize four walls. We furnish and decorate the interiors,
we make sure that the students have all the facilities they need. We go as far as creating areas for social activities, fitness and recreation - a home away from home!
Since students have different requirements regarding their housing abroad we offer a specter of different options and configurations, giving you a wide choice. All of our locations are positioned close to the university campus and the city center, making everything accessible by foot and bike. Our locations are both in Vlissingen and Middelburg!
We consider the matching of students and accommodation a very delicate process.We already know our student before they've even arrived! We dedicate time and effort to make sure that your housing fits with your requirements and expectations.

University structure that during the summer season turns into a hotel, for us because we travel by bicycle the availability of the washer-dryer and the parking for bicycles was extremely welcome

Wir haben wundervolle 3 Tage / 2 Übernachtungen verbracht. Der Raum ist gross und pro Person mit 1 Bett, 1 Schrank, 1 Sessel u 1 Schreibtisch m. Stuhl eingerichtet. Des weiteren gibt es ein Waschbecken nebst kleinem Shampoo, u kleiner Flüssigseife. Ebenfalls einen Kühlschrank, 1 Mikrowelle u ausreichend Geschirr P. Person. Es ist ein ehemaliges Krankenhaus, dem zu Folge werden Dusche und Wc, jeweils separat, geteilt. Es ist sauber, wenn auch ein wenig in die Jahre gekommen.
Ein Lidl ist fussläufig zu erreichen, ebenfalls ist der Weg ins Zentrum gut zu Fuss zu bewältigen.
Gemanagt wird alles von sehr aufmerksamen und hilfsbereiten Studenten. Der Weg zum Strand ist mit 10 Minuten angegeben, wobei das sehr grosszügig bemessen ist. Unser Hund hat ausgiebig überall geschnuppert und trotzdem haben wir keine 10 Minuten gebraucht. Wir sind rundherum zufrieden mit dem Campus de Ruyter und werden auf jeden Fall wieder herkommen ??

We spent a wonderful 3 days / 2 nights. The room is large and has 1 bed, 1 cupboard, 1 armchair and 1 desk per person. Chair set up. There is also a sink with a small shampoo and a small liquid soap. Also a refrigerator, 1 microwave and sufficient dishes for person. It is a former hospital, so the shower and toilet are shared separately. It's clean, if a little old.
A Lidl is within walking distance, and the way to the center is also easy to manage on foot.
Everything is managed by very attentive and helpful students. The way to the beach is given as 10 minutes, which is very generous. Our dog has sniffed extensively everywhere and yet it didn't take us 10 minutes. We are completely satisfied with the Campus de Ruyter and will definitely come back ??

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolut genial. Große, schöne, saubere Zimmer, entspannte Gemeinschaftsräume und Parkplätze direkt vor der Tür. Preislich mehr als in Ordnung. Normalerweise ist das wohl ein Studentenwohnheim, so wie ich das verstanden habe, daher waren auch ein paar andere junge Leute dort.
Da es sich bei dem Gebäude um ein altes Krankenhaus handelt, haben die Flure einen entsprechenden Charme und die WCs sind nicht auf den Zimmern selbst, sondern in einem extra Räumchen, was man vom Flur aus erreichen kann. Dusche ist jedoch im Zimmer selbst.
Wenn man es drauf anlegt kann man auch auf dem Balkon wunderbar sitzen und den Abend gemeinsam ausklingen lassen.
Alles in Allem eine absolute Empfehlung, besonders wenn man mit Freunden, oder als junges Paar verreist!
Absolutely awesome. Big, nice, clean rooms, relaxed common areas and parking right outside the door. Priced more than okay. Usually this is a dormitory as I understand it, so there were a few other young people there too.
Since the building is an old hospital, the corridors have a corresponding charm and the toilets are not in the rooms themselves, but in a separate room, which can be reached from the corridor. However, the shower is in the room itself.
If you want to, you can also sit on the balcony and let the evening fade away together.
All in all an absolute recommendation, especially if you are traveling with friends or as a young couple!
