β β β β β I am very satisfied with my experience in Captain Mac. Thomas was even from the beginning very helpful and kind and he was helping me all the way from the moment I left my computer to him to fix it, until I received. He did a great job fixing my computer, he was very fast with the diagnosis, he explained to me everything and he sent it back to me completely new, even though the damage was big. The prices also are very good.
Right now actually I'm writing this review from my computer and I couldn't be happier.

β β β β β Great service at a great price. I brought in a very old macbook which had several problems, but which I did not want to lose. Despite the macbook revealing even more problems throughout the repair, Thomas kept me well informed throughout the whole process, continued to come up with novel solutions to novel problems, and went above and beyond to make sure I was given back a well functioning laptop. I wholeheartedly recommend Captain Mac. Excellent customer service.

β β β β β While redoing the thermals of my Alienware laptop I accidentally broke a connector off of the motherboard, making my laptop completely unusable.
I knew I needed to get the connector repaired by a skilled microsoldering professional, and I figured that it wouldn't be much different from what Captain Mac offers for apple users, so I made an appointment and brought my laptop over. Sadly, we found out that the type of connector on my MoBo was harder to find variant of the connectors he had available, but we took the time to find out which exact connector he needed, which he ordered. Sadly the only place the connector was available had a delivery time of one month, which was a bummer, but nothing anyone could have done anything about.
After three weeks of patiently waiting he messaged me with the news that the connector came in and that he'd be working on it right away, and while he replaced the connector he found out a transistor on the motherboard was also fried, which he replaced as well.
When I came to pick up my laptop I was happy to see it finally working again, and after extensively using it for the past two days I can say that it's working just perfectly.
So, TLDR/
Even if you have a non-apple product with harder to find components, Captain Mac has got you covered! He even said he enjoyed working on something other than an apple product for once, so y'all know where to go if you have any hardware issues with non apple products!
I'm very happy to have my setup back in business, all thanks to Captain Mac!

β β β β β Took my MacBook Pro to Captain Mac to fix a motherboard issue after trying various fixes myself. He identified the problem and fixed the issue within 5 day, which was a very fast turnaround time considering I dropped the laptop off on Thursday!
I would highly recommend his services! Thanks to him it now means my 2011 MacBook Pro can run for a few more years.

β β β β β My late 2013 27 inch iMac stopped turning on. It would load very slowly and get no further even in recovery mode. I originally took it to Amac and paid β¬60 for them to tell me they couldn't do anything. I'm so glad I stumbled across Captain Mac they managed to replace my drive for a very reasonable price and in a matter of days I had my working iMac back. Now I have a few more years before I need to buy a new one! I highly recommend Captain Mac.
