★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had my window smashed in Amsterdam, that was bad enough but I brought the car to carglas to fix it, and while my car was in the shop someone stole my TomTom Navigation out of the car, while it was fixed. The Manager was than not helpfull, telling me that stealing is not in their policy, and that I should file a report at the Police again ! DO NOT GO THERE THEY STEAL from you!!!!! THIS is the worst experience ever!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I went here to repair my smashed side window. First, the repair costs are extremely high compared with Kwikfit. Carglass charged €210, while Kwikfit was €109. The reason why I went to Carglass is solely because I already made an appointment due to their 24/7 call service and I called in the evening, out-of-office hours, when Kwikfit was already closed.
Second, after giving extensive information about my car, the receptionist ordered the wrong car window. The engineer only realized that after I arrived. Thus, I had to wait 2 more days and plan another appointment.
Third, because of the receptionist's mistake of ordering the wrong window, I was promised a discount and a free mobile service, so that I would not have to travel again to the garage. However, when the friendly engineer arrived at my house, I had to bring the car to the garage regardless, due to bad weather. The engineer was a good guy - a mexican fella, but the management is inadequate.
Finally, upon paying in the garage, the receptionist overcharged me because she did not apply the promised discount. Another €50 came on top the €210, totalling €260 for a mere side-window. Only after saying that she is incorrect in billing me that much, and after reading her colleague's note, she charged me the correct amount. All in all, not a place I'd go back to.

instead of negotiations 1 hour with our jeep company which they could do nothing for our car window, we just go to this carglass, they immediately propose a solution, after 10 minutes, the problem resolved! And it's free!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ They replaced my front window of my car and I found to overall service better than expected. I was offered a bicycle to drive to the metro since the repair would be longer than normally. They cleaned all my windows which is a nice gesture. They made good on the promise of new wipers without having to remind them.
