★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Prachtig natuurgebied, echt van alle soorten paden kom je tegen. Bospaden, heide, verhard en mul zand. Maar zo de moeite waard, als je hier in de buurt bent zou ik hier zeker de tijd voor nemen. De paarse route (7km) brengt je langs de prachtige heide, mooie meertjes en een mooi vlonder pad.
Heb geen foto's omdat ik een trailrun door dit gebied heb gedaan en dus geen mobiel of camera meedraag. Ik zag genoeg reviews met foto's dus dat zegt al genoeg.
Kom hier zeker terug.
Beautiful nature reserve, you will come across all kinds of paths. Forest paths, heathland, paved and loose sand. But so worth it, if you're in the area I would definitely take the time to do this. The purple route (7km) takes you along the beautiful heathland, beautiful lakes and a beautiful deck path.
Don't have any photos as I did a trail run through this area and so don't carry a cellphone or camera. I saw enough reviews with photos so that says enough.
Definitely come back here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Gevarieerde heide en bos. Mooie paden. Tijdens een heerlijke wandeling in begin april 2021 van 14km veel vogels gezien (en gehoord) op het water en in de bomen/struiken. Ook een grote pad, zie laatste foto. Rondom het water bloeiende Gagel, wat heerlijk ruikt. Kom er zeker voor terug als het blad eraan zit, want dat geurt nog meer en dat doet me denken aan de pittige smaak in Gageleer...
Varied heather and forest. Beautiful trails. During a lovely walk of 14km in early April 2021, you saw (and heard) many birds on the water and in the trees / shrubs. Also a large toad, see last photo. Gagel blooming around the water, which smells wonderful. Be sure to come back when the leaf is on, because it smells even more and that reminds me of the spicy taste in Gageleer ...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Prachtig natuurdomein, met leuke verrassingen (zoals schommels in de bomen). Heel fijn om met de hond te komen wandelen.
Beautiful nature reserve, with nice surprises (such as swings in the trees). Very nice to come for a walk with the dog.
