Castellum is dé bioscoop voor Alphen aan den Rijn en omstreken voor iedereen die van films houdt. Hier kom je geen film kijken, maar film beleven!
Castellum vertoont de allernieuwste films en heeft een ruim en gevarieerd aanbod. Naast de allernieuwste films heeft Castellum ook diverse specials, zoals CinePlus (overdag genieten van de mooiste films, speciaal afgestemd op de 50+ doelgroep, inclusief een kopje koffie of thee en wat lekkers), Ladies Nights en speciale Kidsmiddagen. Zo is er voor iedereen wat.
Er zijn drie bioscoopzalen met in totaal 288 luxe stoelen en optimaal zit- en geluidcomfort. De zalen zijn ruim opgezet met extra ruime stoelen en veel beenruimte. De stoelen op de 1e rij hebben een extraatje, de rugleuning van de stoel kan iets naar achteren kantelen. Dat kijkt comfortabeler.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went to see the famous Dutch Barister Gerard Spong, was funny and informative. Too bad a group of about 5 persons couldn't keep their mouths shut and kept talking quite loud the last half hour of the act. Also very annoying, flash phone picture taking audience in the back. For the rest a small cosey theater with a café that has a nice view over a canal.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Well organised theatre. Looks brandnew while at the same time breathing the atmosphere of a very old and cosy one. We ennjoyed a very good perfomance by Yamato. These Japanese drummers not only entertained their audience, but made everyone join in! It was a wonderfull evening.

This is a small, yet cosy theatre. The staff always seem so helpful and friendly.
I can't comment on the price of the snacks, but I know they sell bottles of beer for your showing!
They also pause the movie halfway through for a bathroom break! Not sure if this is a Dutch thing? Or special for this Theatre!
All in all, really like this cinema :)
