★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I bought a 1978 bottle of wine in April and a piece of jewelry for the wedding in June this year. Smooth transactions, no payment issues. Had a hiccup with jewelry piece delivered (seller by mistake put the wrong length chain), but via Catawiki's customer service the piece was replaced within a couple of business days. I would recommend shopping there.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Buyers and sellers beware. If something goes wrong with a shipment (i.e. damaged goods), Catawiki will freeze the payment, but the burden of finding a solution is entirely on you. So have fun contacting local restoration companies for quotes, trying to reach someone at UPS, weighing the cost of legal counsel, etc.
Furthermore, customer support says one thing to the buyer and another thing to the seller. The tone of communication is not helpful (as in, "you obviously haven't understood how great we are...") and at some point rather shocking. My conclusion: In the future I will buy from local dealers, see exactly what I'm getting and reduce my carbon footprint. Peace to all.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ As far as customer service goes, I can give 5 stars with a lot of confidence. Stephanie was very helpful, and followed up the entire process. As a seller, I've read many negative reviews, but I was helped tremendously by Stephanie.
I even got a voucher for my next purchase to thank me for my cooperation. The package I sent was returned to me, and so a claim was opened, this was handled very professionaly! Great and clear communication both via email as over the phone. Friendly and professional, as it should be.
