 Had a great holiday! The Satlvik farm in Husavik (Iceland) was really great and Centaur Trails helped us very well. Professional and personal. I can wholeheartedly recommend this to anyone who likes riding holidays.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Super paardrijvakantie gehad in Catalonië. Was goed georganiseerd. Prachtige reis, fijne gids, prima hotels/hostels en goed eten en drinken. Er is veel aandacht voor het welzijn van de paarden en zij worden goed verzorgd.
Het is goed te doen als je in je eentje boekt, ik vond het heel leuk om met een groep gelijkgezinden deze reis te maken. De trip is echt een aanrader. Wel handig om fit te zijn, het is wel inspannend maar de spierpijn was de moeite waard! Het reisbureau heeft me ook goed kunnen helpen toen er iets mis leek te gaan met mijn covid-inreisdocumenten.
Had a great riding holiday in Catalonia. Was well organised. Wonderful trip, great guide, great hotels/hostels and good food and drinks. Much attention is paid to the well-being of the horses and they are well cared for.
It is doable if you book on your own, I really enjoyed making this trip with a group of like-minded people. The trip is really recommended. Handy to be fit, it is strenuous but the muscle pain was worth it! The travel agency was also able to help me when something seemed to go wrong with my covid entry documents.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Met dank aan Centaur Trails heb ik een super mooie paardrijvakantie gehad. Het contact voorafgaand aan de reis was goed geregeld. Ervaring en voorkeur kan worden doorgegeven en geen vraag was teveel m.b.t. vluchten/corona maatregelen. Ook bij aankomst even een appje gekregen of met de vraag of de reis goed was gegaan, dus de begeleiding is heel persoonlijk, wat ik kan waarderen.
De reis zelf in Noord Macedonië was echt fantastisch. Zes dagen rijden in een prachtige omgeving met goed verzorgde paarden. De gids was lokaal, dus wist veel te vertellen over de omgeving en geschiedenis. Er werd vlot doorgereden met ook lange galop stukken, maar er was ook genoeg tijd voor foto’s op uitkijkpunten. We hebben zowel zonsondergang als zonsopgang te paard gezien, wat een unieke ervaring was. De reis is heel compleet voor de geboden prijs, want over alle aspecten is nagedacht (verblijf, eten en afwisseling van de ritten). Het werd de gasten zo comfortabel mogelijk gemaakt, maar er was ook serieuze aandacht voor veiligheid.
Ik zou deze reis zeker aanbevelen als je even terug wilt trekken uit de dagelijkse drukte, zonder toeristen. Bijzonder om nog zulke afgelegen plekken in Europa te vinden en de mensen zijn super gastvrij.
Thanks to Centaur Trails I had a super nice horseback riding holiday. The contact prior to the trip was well arranged. Experience and preference can be passed on and no question was too much regarding flights / corona measures. Also received an app on arrival or asking if the trip had gone well, so the guidance is very personal, which I can appreciate.
The trip itself in North Macedonia was really fantastic. Six days of riding in beautiful surroundings with well-groomed horses. The guide was local so knew a lot about the area and history. The ride continued smoothly with long canter sections, but there was also enough time for photos at lookout points. We saw both sunset and sunrise on horseback which was a unique experience. The trip is very complete for the price offered, because all aspects have been considered (accommodation, food and variety of the rides). The guests were made as comfortable as possible, but there was also serious attention to safety.
I would definitely recommend this trip if you want to get away from the daily hustle and bustle, without tourists. It is special to find such remote places in Europe and the people are super hospitable.

She gave me advice on where to go, prices, and always replied very quickly. I am DEFINITELY planning my next trip with Centaur Trails, and strongly advise you to do the same!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have done two trails in Albania, the Kingsroad and the Zagoria trail. And it was sublime, wonderful, and an adventure. Everyday was breathtaking and more beautifull. The trails are sometimes hard but at every end of the day there is an very satisfying local dinner in a new village or at a shepherds place in the mountains. Staying with all the local families is wonderful. drinking raki, enjoying traditional dance and enjoying the company of the locals.
The whole journey is greatly organized!
When you desire a horse riding holiday without any concerns and enjoy nature from a back from a horse. I really recommend Centaur Trails. This company delivers what they say, and more.
I'm grateful i will carry the memories from this holiday with me the rest of my life.
