★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Museum was almost empty during daytime. Some exhibition rooms were too creepy to enter - no people, no staff, poor lighting. Also, if you are not interested in furniture design, baroque paintings and Miffy just like me, there's not so much left to see. That's the most of what they show in Dutch museums, why I was expecting to see something else hahaha.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Caravaggio exhibition is only until March 24th, 2019, so better hurry! Access is by timeslot booked online- at the beginning of the time slot it is very busy, later the crowd dilutes. Even though there are only two original Caravaggio’s and two historical copies, the exhibition is very much worthwhile. Very well framed with all the painters who followed his style, especially from Utrecht. Great pieces on loan from the Louvre, the Rijksmuseum etc.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice museum, combination of old art from Utrecht and modern art, is opposite of the Nijntje museum, do for adults, friends family, kids, nice to see, and for the smallest you can visit before or after the Nijntje museum
