Very good. Membership free for kids I think that's really great. It is a very good place not only to study but to spend a few hours specially when it rains. I really enjoyed my time there.

It is a great place to study. It has 6 floors and quite big to take an isolated seat. Also, variety of the books are very satisfactory. All the floors are clean and you can bring your coffee mug to enjoy without any interference. In basement floor, there is a Starbucks where you can get your coffee. I appreciate the municipality to provide us this precious and modern library.

I have never been to a public library where you have to pay to use the WIFI, this is ridiculous. They didnt even tell you this on the website, you have to go all the way there only to be told that you have to pay to use their wifi. With the amount of advertising they do as a good place for students to come and study you'd think they would make the wifi free. But apparently they cant wrap their little minds around the fact that students dont have extra money to pay for wifi every time they want to study. Apart from this it was lound when I went and their arent that many places to sit and study. I will not be coming back here and neither should you, save youself the headache and go somewhere with free wifi.

It came quite a surprise that you need to pay 2.50 EUR for wifi. You can only use it for free if you have a membership and it does not pay off to get one if you are just visiting a city. I also was not able to use wifi even after I paid and still do not know what the issue was. I was on a live chat with someone on library's website, went to information booth on 1st and 6th floor and after an hour of struggling still no result. DO NOT recommend this library for city visitors. Bad image on the city.

I love the library as a place to study. It's open at pretty decent times, and it has many different places you can work in. The downside is that it is currently absolutely packed! I hope they add more study facilities, because it is usually completely full after 15:30. I also wish they had more vending machines, because it would be nice to be able to grab something quickly. When it comes to books, this library has almost everything. People: don't buy books for your kids, just get a library pass! They have every single picture book you could ever want, and every young adult book too. When it comes to their adult range, I can count the number of times they *didn't* have a book I wanted (not including when someone else was using it) on one hand. Plus, if a book you want has been borrowed, you can just get a reservation, and they'll have it for you when the previous user is finished using it. TLDR: Great library, but with limited available seats to study. Very good accessibility for disabled people and neurodivergent people. My only possible improvements would be: 1. Faster reservations for books 2. More vending machines 3. More available study areas 4. Allowing people to reserve study spaces at the top floor

We visit frequently but enjoyed our visit a bit more yesterday because we experienced the event: Human library. It was really interesting and I hope this will take place more often.

I am a frequent visitor to the library, a Rotterdam institution that plays a crucial role in the education of Rotterdammers (and visitors) of all ages, gender and background. We are extremely lucky to have this library: amazing collection, bright and airy and the friendliest and most helpful staff you can find in any public library.
