 In 2003 I came to live in Deventer. Since then, always the same monthly menu (takeaway) βΊοΈ but still just as good!

β β β β β Er zaten botten in de kip-ketjap. En niet alleen hele botjes als normaal in kippenpootjes, maar ook afgebroken botjes in de kip en losse stukjes bot in de saus.
There were bones in the chicken soy sauce. And not only whole bones as normal in chicken legs, but also broken bones in the chicken and loose pieces of bone in the sauce.

I have tried several chinese restaurants over the years. China city is the best I must say.

β β β β β Woensdagavond d.d. 09-06-2021 een hoofdgerecht "Nasi goreng Yeung Chow met kleine garnalen en chasiu" besteld. Het gerecht valt vies tegen. Het geheel ziet er bleekjes uit net als de nasi goreng die je gratis erbij krijgt als je een hoofdgerecht besteld. Het verschil is het toevoegen van wat doperwtjes, kleine garnalen en van gierigheid heel kleine blokjes gesneden chasiu. Lekker snel voorbereid en gemakkelijk verdiend voor een prijzig hoofdgerecht!
Als iemand met een Aziatische roots (Hokkien) mis ik de smaak van soy sauce (kecap asin), vis sauce, kecap manis en oyster sauce. Bovendien mis ik de smaak van knoflook en uien en zie ik geen fijn gesneden lente-uitjes of tay soi (chinese knoflook bieslook) of prei.
Kraak noch smaak!!!
U moet een voorbeeld nemen met wat restaurant βNoodle Worksβ aan de Janstraat te Arnhemβ serveren voor hetzelfde gerecht. Hoofdgerecht nummer 20) JANG CHOW FAN met cha siu (geb.rijst met cha siu, garnalen, ei en groenten) voor maar β¬ 10,50 ..
Ordered a main course "Nasi goreng Yeung Chow with small shrimps and chasiu" on Wednesday evening 09-06-2021. The court is disgusting. The whole thing looks pale, just like the nasi goreng that you get for free when you order a main course. The difference is the addition of some green peas, small shrimps and chasiu cut into very small cubes. Prepared quickly and easily earned for a pricey main course!
As someone with Asian roots (Hokkien) I miss the taste of soy sauce (kecap asin), fish sauce, kecap manis and oyster sauce. Plus, I miss the taste of garlic and onions, and I don't see finely chopped scallions or tay soi (chinese garlic chives) or leeks.
Neither crack nor taste!!!
You should take an example with what restaurant βNoodle Worksβ at the Janstraat in Arnhemβ serve for the same dish. Main course number 20) JANG CHOW FAN with cha siu (rice with cha siu, shrimps, egg and vegetables) for only β¬ 10.50 ..

β β β β β Dag van te voren catering incl. bestek en borden besteld voor 20 personen. Werd ivm corona voor de deur neergezet. We haalden het zelf naar binnen. Het bleef een paar uur warm. Het was heerlijk. Top, aanrader
Catering incl. cutlery and plates ordered the day before for 20 people. Was put in front of the door due to corona. We brought it in ourselves. It stayed warm for a few hours. It was delicious. Great, recommended
