β β β β β One of the best dimsum ??? in town, always busy with mostly Asians dining with few locals as honoured guests ?? affordable with fast service ?, in fact if they forgot your order they make it quicker, go figure...if you want to take a photo ask the friendly elderly gentleman, not the super busy ladies...a must visit, again and again..

β β β β β The Grand Daddy and certainly the most original and famous Cantonese restaurant in Rotterdam, if not in the whole country. In spite of the crowd, the service is very fast. People come here for the food of course, and it cannot be more authentic than this. I have chosen dim sum for today's lunch but the menu is very extensive and exciting. Tai Wu is a legend and it thrives despite tough competition. Highly recommended!!

β β β β β I was surprised to see this Cantonese restaurant here in Rotterdam. The atmosphere and scale are very Chinese, so does itβs service, so donβt expect European nice restaurants service here.
The food was also better than my expectations. Your experience can vary depends on what you order. There are hundreds dishes for you to choose. Either you should have Chinese experience or have Chinese friends coming with you and better a Cantonese friend.

β β β β β BEST Chinese restaurant ever!! the dishes are delicious and prepared with good ingredients and lots of taste. there's a very wide choice and all the dishes I tied are just so tasty! it's definitely worth a visit if you're around Rotterdam Central station.

β β β β β Complete with red pillars, big gold letterings and an LED neon screen at their entrance (no less), I entered this well-recommended Chinese restaurant with no small amount of bemusement at the giant laughing buddha statue that greeted us at the entrance - and suffered sudden flashbacks to Haw Par Villa in Singapore! But any trepidations I may have had were put to rest immediately by the extremely friendly Cantonese, Mandarin, English and Dutch speaking staff, who welcomed us and our Beagle and showed us to a table within 5 minutes. I hadn't been expecting very authentic fair, but was completely surprised by the truly authentic and delicious food that appeared promptly at our table. So delicious was their sweet and sour pork that our table repeated this order during the course of the meal. Other highlights was the lamb hotpot which is quite unusual to find outside, the eggplant claypot and the venison meat with ginger and spring onions. This traditional restaurant hits all the right places, and is set to become a regular watering hole for our family in the Netherlands.

β β β β β The food itself tasted amazing and very authentic, but the service was awful.
A waiter practically took our plates away before we were finished with our starters and when corrected only mumbled something in Chineese. We ordered 6 different menus and only 1 was explained when delivered. They staff were non-chalant from the beginning till the end, made the money spent (β¬248 by 6p) look irrelevent.
I'll advice you don't go there if you have anything to celebrate or someone to impress.
