★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Chiqueolatte was the last place we ate during our trip to Rotterdam and what an ending! I got the acai bowl and a matcha latte while my partner got the salmon sandwich. Both the food and drinks were delicious and we really appreciated the vegetarian options. The staff were friendly and the café is absolutely stunning.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice place and amazing staff. The chocolate fondue is delicious for celebrations. The staff waited 30 min after closing hours until we were done. Upper floor is perfect for writing /working on your laptop. It has turned into our favorite bar close to home.

The Ladys are very kindly. Coffee was delicious. Definitly next time again a Stop?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Last Sunday we went to Chiqueolatte in Rotterdam for the first time. It's a pretty small facility. That was the first thing that immediately struck me. I expected it to be bigger. When entering, they immediately asked for a QR code, which in itself is very good. The woman behind the counter just didn't have a scanner with which she could scan the QR code, so that was a bit strange. The coffee bar has a nice cozy interior which immediately gave me a living room feeling. Perfect for studying or working. What I also like about the interior are the tiny houses where you have just a little more privacy. We just had a drink. The hot chocolate bomb in particular is a nice alternative to the standard chocolate milk. At one point we asked if the door could be closed because it was very cold. Unfortunately that was not possible and then we went upstairs. On the website I saw that they will open a new cafe in The Hague soon. Can't wait to visit this one.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cute setting and decorations. Coffee is sadly mediocre. I ordered a flat white. The milk should be microfoam but was instead mostly froth. They have a “glitzie unicorn shake” on the menu. This should probably be a tip-off that it is not focused on specialty coffee. If you are looking for a nice place to sit it’s totally fine, but if you are looking for top quality coffee go somewhere else.
