Al jarenlang heb ik last van nek en schouderklachten. Er waren dagen/ nachten dat ik continu pijn voelde, een telkens soort zeurende "kiespijn" in mijn schouder/nek. Na al veel andere behandelingen geprobeerd te hebben, kwam ik via via terecht bij deze chiropractor praktijk. Een aantal maanden geleden startte ik daar bij Tharsan Sellathurai mijn behandelingen. Allereerst een groot compliment voor de dames aan de balie in de praktijk, zij zorgen direct voor een welkom gevoel. Maar ook de manier van behandelen sprak mij erg aan. Tharsan luistert goed naar je klachten en neemt deze zeer serieus. Na een uitgebreide intake is de behandeling gestart, met al vrij snel een positief resultaat. Elke behandeling/evaluatie weer luistert hij goed naar hoe je je voelt en behandelt daarna rustig de klachten. Nu maanden later zijn de ergste klachten verdwenen en kan ik me vrijer bewegen. Ik wordt uitgeruster wakker en mijn klachten zijn beter onder controle, met zo af en toe nog een bezoek aan Tharsan, kortom ik ben zeer tevreden.

I highly recommend this place. After a few weeks of visits with Tharsan Sellathurai, I feel stronger, more stable and I can keep up doing sports daily. I feel privileged to have access to help with the Gonstead method.

My experience with Dr. Van Koert is more than excellent. I will talk about my own story and why I highly recommend him to any one lost hope in bringing his/her life back to normal: Past years I had too many accidents, which one of them was more than 41 years old. But all Doctors that I have been to kept telling me that I need to live and manage the pain for the rest of my life, and I may now and then use pain killers or cortison. Both material are very harmful to the stomach and in some cases can worsen the bone. after too many years struggling with the pain I felt I had enough of all that and So decide it to go to Chiropractor, whom they thought that they are helping me but situation strated to go worse than before treatment. In total I went to four chiropractors. Out of desperation I looked into Internet (Youtube) and found Chiropractor practising Gonstead! I was wondering what is Gonstead. So after watching too many Videos of Amercian & Austrailian Gonstead Doctors, I contacted couple of them and asked if they can help me?? They adviced me to look into my area or close to where I live through Gonstead website, which I did thankfully found Dr. Van Koert. He gave me quick appointment . When he met me and went through checking spine with x-ray, he was shocked of how bad my spine was and how much other Chiropractors mess it further up!! So He gave me treatment Plan, and after First Phase of the treatment process I felt the huge difference (Walking or longer standing) and even my old problem of 41 years old of lower back ( which was affecting my left leg and causing daily pain to my back) started to get much better. Dr. Van Koert is indeed very professional and always make sure that his patient ' situation is improving and most important part he listen to the patient. I highly recommend him because he is once upon a time a Doctor. Bless him.

Thanks to Gertjan I’m able to do what I love and that’s sports. I used to struggle with the back pain for more than 4 years, I tried all the treatments possible with no positive results. Luckily for me several people recommended Gertjan and I gave it a try. I couldn’t be more happy with the professionalism, knowledge and passion that he has for his work. And of course since one year my back is doing great! I keep coming back once in a while to make sure that everything stays healthy. I came to Mr. Van Koert with complains of frequent headaches and restless, disturbed sleep. Due to bad sleep and headaches I had experienced chronic tiredness for the last 3 years. Gertjan did a miracle – after 3-5 sessions, my headaches disappeared. My name is Ismael and I want to tell you my story: In Oct 2019 I started getting extreme pain in my right shoulder and extreme tingling in my hand. I went for physiotherapy for a least 10 treatments, at first it helped a bit, but after a pause of 1 month the pain came back much heavier then before, I couldn't even focus on my daily work. I got at a point that I couldn't take on the pain and made an appointment with my doctor. After hearing my story, I've been referred to take an MRI scan of my neck. The MRI showed a herniated disc in my neck. The neurologist recommended physiotherapy again and if that didn't help I’ll needed to come back. On the internet I found a therapy called the McKenzie Therapy, I found a McKenzie physiotherapy close by and started with the treatment. However during the treatment, I kept having the pains, they decreased a bit but not much. I continued my journey looking for 100% recovery, and I found the Gonstead treatment I began researching it, and got more and more interested in it, because of how the Gonstead approach works. I've also consulted my doctor and physiotherapist, and both told me NO, the herniated disc doesn't have anything to do with a misaligned spinal cord or misaligned hips or anything like that. However I followed my Gut feeling and went to the walk-in at Van Koert Chiropractie and talked with Mr Tharsan and he told everything about the treatment and how he can help and that he could help me with my pain. He told me that the core problem of my herniated disk would probably come from somewhere else in the body. One Month later I had my first appointment. First some checks and a full body scan was made. After that I got my result and Tharsan advised me to start with a 4-week adjustment program. After 4/5 treatments I began feeling much better and the pain was at least reduced by 50%. Last week I had my last treatment of the 4-week program. The pain in my right shoulder has gone, the tingling in my right hand is almost reduced by 90%. The next step is to continue the treatment on a less frequent visit for a 100 % recovery. Mr Tharsan thank you for helping me. Think about your future and invest in your health. It's not cheap. Roughly 1400 euros for a pre-planned, in total a half-year treatment (probably depends on your conditions also), but it's definitely worth to try then spread the good word of the Gonstead-method, like me:) Mr Tharsan did a great job and fixed a few minor problems that can cause much bigger ones in the future. He's love what he's doing and try to understand the core of the problems, but do not hesitate to ask or even suggest things which feels different or needs to fix. Also, he'll try to answer all your questions, so I encourage you to do so.
