E	Elly Walker on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was there for a Christmas Service in 1991. I was surprised to see a Church in place of the mansion and our favourite nooteboom gone. My friends and I spent a lot of time under that tree. I lived in a grocery shop on the corner of Watertorenstraat and Grachtstraat. No 6 actually. Looking on Google I noticed all the old houses gone including my parents shop and the icing space behind it. It's now the garden of next door. I attend a Baptist Church in Adelaide South Australia. I and my children accepted Christ as our Savior 40 years ago in 1977. I really enjoyed singing my favourite song at your service. While in Groningen I attended the Baptist Church and the Herforde keep that preached in Gronings ( after not speaking in the dialect it was music to my ears) I spoke to a friend and asked her when she prayed did she use the dialect. To my disappointment she said no..she spoke to our heavenly Father in proper Dutch. I asked when she was speaking to her own father what did she use. Her answer was Grunnigs. I said why not in Grunnigs to God, The language of your birth makes it more personal. God bless your fellowship and greetings to all who remember Hoendervangers kruideniers zaak.
