STADSBISTRO CHRISTOFFEL
Al bijna 25 jaar is Stadsbistro Christoffel een begrip in de stad. De sfeervolle en moderne stadsbistro bevindt zich in de gezelligste wijk van Den Bosch, de Uilenburg. Bij Christoffel kun je toute la journée terecht voor een goede lunch, een verse kop koffie of een smakelijk diner. Met trots kunnen we stellen dat Christoffel één van de drukstbezochte lunchplekken van Den Bosch is. Dat blijft niet onopgemerkt, zo citeert het bekende magazine Elle Eten "Alle gerechten hier zijn super op smaak en de service is op weinig plekken zo goed. Geen wonder ook dat het hier dagelijks tussen 12.00 – 14.00 afgelaaien druk is. Dat is Brabants voor zorg dat je er op tijd bij bent anders heb je geen plek ;-)."
Wij van Christoffel hebben service en gastvrijheid inderdaad torenhoog in het welbekende vaandel staan en vinden het belangrijk dat iedereen bij ons terecht kan. Van jong tot oud, voor een snelle hap, een uitgebreid diner, een kop koffie òf een borrel begeleid met een van onze bar bites. Dat alles in een ongedwongen sfeer.
OPENINGSTIJDEN
Het restaurant is dagelijks vanaf 11.30 uur geopend voor lunch en diner, op zaterdag vanaf 10.30 uur. Hoe je Christoffel kunt bereiken zie je in de routebeschrijving. We raden je aan je tafel in het restaurant vooraf online of telefonisch (073 612 12 56) te reserveren.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I highly recommend this place when trying to choose from the many options there. Their food was exceptional, the environment beautiful, and the wait staff quite welcoming. For an evening drink, I have to recommend the hot mint tea. You'll be glad you did!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had a nice late afternoon meal. Right on the tourist street in Den Bosch. Streets full of people. We sat outside. Service was very good. Food also good. Specialty of fish, mussels, and Poke bowls. Prices are high, really high. $200 US for 4 people. We did have a bottle of Prosecco not champagne. But a 3 course meal with entree, main course and dessert is 30 Euros. Extra charge for any premium entree or main. Fun but expensive

Very accommodating to person with dietary needs. No problem when we asked if they could take a picture even though they were busy. A real winner, highly recommended.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A nice place with a very extensive lunch menu with classics as well as some more experimental things. Staff is mostly very friendly. Location is really nice, right in the middle of the city centre. Interior is well done, it feels upscale but still has a modern and open vibe to it. Portion sizes were big! Only downside is that I wouldn't necessarily have put some ingredients of some dishes together, they didn't always add much to it which was a shame.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very friendly staff, good atmosphere and huge portions of food. They serve loads and loads of bread though. We tried the vegetarian bread tray and the Mid-Noon dish, which were tasty but got overwhelmed by the accompanying coleslaw and bread. Coleslaw and a slice of tinned pineapple didn't match the dish and were soaking up the bread as well. Not impressed with the hummus on the bread tray. Would def come back to have another Bossche Bol!
