 Nice old atmospheric church. Open every day during the summer months. Worth a visit. Possibly in combination with a "ginkie tour".

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Heel mooi dit oudste kerkje van Urk. Staat dicht bij het vissers en oorlogsmonument. Vandaar loop je zo langs het water naar de historische haven.
Very beautiful this oldest church in Urk. Is close to the fishermen and war memorial. From there you can walk along the water to the historic harbor.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Het Kerkje aan Zee te Urk is het oudste gebouw van deze plaats en is gebouwd in 1786 ter plaatse van een oudere voorganger. De kerk is eigendom van de Kerkvoogdij van de Hervormde Gemeente Urk. In de kerk worden nog steeds diensten gehouden. Ook worden er veel trouwdiensten gehouden.
The Kerkje aan Zee in Urk is the oldest building of this place and was built in 1786 on the site of an older predecessor. The church is owned by the Church Guardianship of the Reformed Municipality of Urk. Services are still held in the Church. Many wedding services are also held.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Mooi kerkje. Indertijd geschonken door Amsterdam hetgeen overduidelijk op de zijgevel is vermeld. De steunpilaren in de kerk zijn bepleisterde masten afkomstig van de VOC scheepswerven.
Er is nog veel meer te vertellen, maar dat laat ik graag over aan de gidsen.
Beautiful little church. Donated by Amsterdam at the time, which is clearly stated on the side wall. The pillars in the church are plastered masts from the VOC shipyards.
There is much more to tell, but I like to leave that to the guides.
