Violet Crawley (Maggie Smith) is namelijk in het bezit gekomen van een riante villa, die ze dankzij een oude jeugdliefde heeft bemachtigd. Zoals gewoonlijk gaat een bezoek van de Crawleys met een hoop drama gepaard en loopt alles bepaald niet op rolletjes.
