★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Oss is a lovely place to visit, the City hotel is very affordable and within easy walk of both the train station (600m) and the town centre (about the same distance) where there are some lovely places to eat and shop.

The family owned facility is well managed and very accommodating with clean rooms, good food for both dinner & lunch and parking at site or nearby.
Highly recommended.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What a rude experience this was. I made the mistake to tell reception i had trouble getting dollars exchanged in euros and an ATM had swallowed one of my cards. Immediately they were rude and demanded upfront payment (despite having all our info from check-in incl a swipe of our credit card). Everything in bar had to be paid immediately and we were told 30% of their clientele absconds without paying. Other than that hotel is very dated woth broken neon light facades, the powerpoints in room didn't work and no fan in bathroom. The fire alarm was set off with my nebuliser for a few seconds and am employee came screaming and yelling at us offering no help or excuses. We felt like intruders here. Highly recommend the same price but highly luxurious, modern De Weverij which was booked full thos night (we loved it the previous nights)... i dont think I've ever left such a dismal review.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ City hotel oss is a decent hotel near the centre of oss. The rooms are quite spacious and feel luxurious for the price. Unfortunately the white curtains were unable to open so we couldn't enjoy the nice view (see pictures). The staff is very kind and helpful, but didn't really know what we booked. At first he thought we had booked two rooms and then he told us we booked a room including breakfast. Upon checkout we had to pay for the breakfast separately. The breakfast tasted very good, though it was a bit pricy, given it was a buffet.
All with all, we had a very pleasant stay and would definitely do it again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice place, but at arrival the wasn't cleaned. We immediately for a new room. This time clean. The rest of the stay was very nice.
Especially try the dinner. Meat cooked at the table on a stone. Very good.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hotel is ok. Room is spacious and clean. Small limited minibar is available. Bathroom is large and clean. Rain shower is positioned a bit odd making showering a bit inconvenient.
Heating/AC seems to be controlled remotely by the hotel staff. Turned very warm during the night and was impossible for me to turn it off or lower the temperature. Not sure what was up with that.
