★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Een heerlijke winkel van ongekende pracht en schoonheid met exposities waar de meeste musea niet aan kunnen tippen. De Inders die dit plantencentrum al eeuwen beheren en cultiveren schenken hun klanten voor een paar duiten een niet te overtreffen hoeveelheid blijdschap, kleur, geur, vreugde en God weet wat al niet meer. Hij weet heel goed dat ie daar zelf nog een puntje aan kan zuigen.
Ik kom er vaak en graag, met vrouw, vriend en dochter, doe alsof het me niet boeit en hen wel even wil helpen met de plantjes. Edoch, ik transformeer, raak in de ban van gloed, gloei, bloei. Heb nauwelijks meer benul van waar ik ben, ga helemaal op in mijn atelier waarin ik mij meen te bevinden. Registreer zonder blik of bloos wat zich ongegeneerd, open en bloot aanbiedt.
Vandaag was weer zo’n dag, dochterlief wil plantjes voor zichzelf en voor op school. Ze geeft les aan drukke pubers, mooie bloemen, planten, varens, cactussen, vetplantjes, orchideeën, zorgen voor rust, afleiding, contemplatie, wegdromen, ontsnappen naar andere werelden. Precies wat ik zelf ook zo graag doe, altijd maar weer, keer op keer.
