The employees are very friendly.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ No problems, lovely old building which would make it a bit dangerous for folk who have mobility problems. My only gripe was lack of air conditioning but I imagine that is not a problem for the majority of the year...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My husband and I stayed for a weekend at Coevorden, a small but picturesque town in the province of Drenthe. We chose Kasteel Coevorden - Hotel de Vlijt and had a pleasant stay. The hotel is situated in a converted warehouse and everything looks modern. Breakfast is served at the castle and is good. The room we had was very comfortable and had a nice view of the bridge over the water; on the min side, I have to say the windows don't open all the way (thanks to a bad fix of the roll curtain) and it can get quite warm, especially during the summer, I can imagine.
Dinner at the castle restaurant was very nice and the atmosphere by the fireplace in the dining area was great.
All in all, we had a lovely stay and I would certainly recommend this hotel.

The only small remark, as a business traveler, I missed a desk in my room.
But the was a large table on the ground floor of the hotel we I could work comfortably

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice Castle. Rooms are not in side the castle but near at the warehouse remodeled. room was space full, but if you are a light sleeper don't take any room on first floor. Improvement comment: tea cups in every room. Tea and or coffee filled up properly. And make sure the staff was there hand before preparing breakfast. Thing like the fresh orange juice smelled like after shave. This had no influence one the quality of the food. Dinner was very nice, wish we can sit down dinners soon again.
