Small, usually quiet park on the edge of soest. A bit haggard here and there, but it does have atmosphere with those tall trees

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Klein rustig parkje met wat waterpartijtjes, bankjes en een speeltuin. Leuk voor als je in de buurt woont. Beetje onderhoud kan geen kwaad.
Ooit was dit de tuin van Villa Colenso, maar die is in 1959 afgebroken en daarvoor in de plaats heeft de gemeente Soest er een lelijke flat neergezet. Ik kan me voorstellen dat de Soestenaren een mooiere toegangspoort voor hun plaats hadden gewild zo schuin tegenover Paleis Soestdijk.
Small quiet park with some water features, benches and a playground. Nice if you live nearby. A little maintenance can't hurt.
This was once the garden of Villa Colenso, but it was demolished in 1959 and the municipality of Soest has built an ugly flat in its place. I can imagine that the Soesten residents would have liked a nicer entrance gate for their place, diagonally opposite Paleis Soestdijk.
