★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was astonished by the size of this place. Their collection is just massive, and you will need days to look it through. Gladly there is friendly staff happy to help you. Also they have their entire collection on Discogs. But if you are a fan of scrolling through endless vinyl record, this is your place

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My favourite record store. In fact, for its size and vast in store collection to choose from, I dare say it's the best in The Netherlands. Vinyl, CDs, DVDs and books, all categories of music are available. Also films and music DVDs. As they buy in second hand, some stuff that has been out of catalogue for years may well be available here. There also is a coffee corner to take a break from browsing. Staff very friendly and helpful. When looking for a specific title or a special artist, they will look up if it is available and place an order for you. I have been coming to this store since the early 1970s and they have not disappointed for all of these 50 years.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ More than 10 years buying records on the shop, I always knew their strong point was not the customer service but nothing is perfect. I buy both new and second hand records. Today I was told by one of the new young employees not to touch the vinyl with my hands, which I did not. I even showed him how do I listen to records after 20 years without leaving my fingerprints, the same way I want to find the records is the same way I leave them for the next customer if I am not going to buy it after listening. I showed him there were not finger stains from me, he ignored me saying I saw you. He insisted again instead of apologizing after looking to the clean vinyl. I left all the records I wanted to listen to and left. Try to solve your customer care, the client is not always right of course, but listening from time to time would be good for your reputation, specially for old customers. I will not be back.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ if this is not the best place to collecting all your favourites records in Amsterdam, I don't know what else. It is true there are other stores in the city as good as this one, but overall, the location of the store, the ease of order online, collecting/ pay in store, the variety of limited edition records and exclusive release, more over the friendly employees makes shopping happier, keep up with the top notch service :D

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wow! Big record store with an awesome collection. Thought I gave myself enough time to browse but 2 hours was not nearly enough! I had no idea it was so big, and could easily spend a day here - they also serve coffee so a huge plus! Ended up leaving with a big haul, but I will definitely be coming back for more!
