β β β β β Geweldig lekker, zeer goede taarten, gebak, bonbons e.d. Nog nooit iets gekocht wat niet lekker was hier. Alleen niet goedkoop. Ook vegan, glutenvrij, melk vrij, suikervrij gebak te koop.
 Great tasty, very good cakes, pastries, chocolates, etc. Never bought anything that was not tasty here. Just not cheap. Also vegan, gluten-free, milk-free, sugar-free pastries for sale.

β β β β β Zeer teleur gesteld. Uit een assortiment van 4 verschillende gebakjes 25 vegan gebakjes besteld in de winkel voor maar liefst β¬72,-. Toen ik deze zaterdag middag ging ophalen bleek dat er maar 2 soorten waren, waarvan 10 Brownies en 15 pudingtaartjes met fruit. Ze hadden op z'n minst even kunnen bellen dan kon ik in ieder geval nog kiezen of ik deze hoeveelheid wilde. Ik had liever de helft van de gebakjes geanuleerd en dan zelf nog een appeltaartje gebakken. Nu werd ik gewoon voor het blok gezet en had niks in te brengen, erg jammer dit.
Very disappointed. Ordered 25 vegan pastries from an assortment of 4 different pastries in the store for no less than β¬72. When I went to pick up this Saturday afternoon, it turned out that there were only 2 types, of which 10 Brownies and 15 pudding tarts with fruit. They could have at least called and I could at least choose whether I wanted this amount. I would rather have canceled half of the pastries and then baked an apple pie myself. Now I was just put in front of the block and had nothing to contribute, which is very unfortunate.

β β β β β We ordered cake for our son's birthday one week in advance. At the time we were given an album with cake photos to choose from. We made our choice as well as added a muffin with whipped cream and confetti for our little guy. We paid in advance. We wanted something special for our child's very first birthday, but ended up having a negative experience.
When my partner went to pick up the cake on the birthday he was told there was no cake... They had placed the order for August 2021. Then the staff proceeded to offer another random cake instead. We wanted a special birthday cake for our son's 1st birthday, thus we did not want a random substitute. They could not give us a refund. Then they woke up the baker to bake the cake. After ~30min the cake was made... it was nothing like the one we had ordered from the photo. When asked why is it different the answer was "How would I know that?" What was the order then for? Don't they have numbers for the ordered cakes? The cake was inattentively made. The muffin had plain whipped cream.Β We got an additional cake. Nice, but we would have been happy with just ONE right cake.
In conclusion. I understand mistakes happen. But the way Mekking Bakery dealt with it was poor and inattentive. Sure, we are not a royal family, but that day was special for us. The Mekking Bakery staff showed little care for that. Poor customer care.
