★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Only got to see the outside, which is beautiful. If you want to see the inside, plan in advance as you have to attend a guided tour for that and they offer those during limited hours (at the time of our visit in October 2021).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Exterior and interior designed by the same architect Berlage. It's totally gorgeous. You have to take a tour, but it's worth it. Look out for special tours which visit more rooms. Different languages through audio tour. Lots of original artwork and unique solutions like heaters and an elevator.

Though the tour guide was very knowledveable and the history of the building interesting you get to visit only the bottom rooms as the fire department declared the upper floor unsafe for the public as there is only one flight of stairs to the ground floor. A solution should be worked out otherwise much like me you'll feel to-be short of the full visit.
