Our History
Tradin Organic has a long-standing history in organic cocoa. Over 25 years ago, Tradin Organic started pioneering in organic cocoa. We helped to establish the market for organic cocoa, by sourcing organic certified beans from different origins, to have them processed in Europe into organic cocoa products. As the market for organic cocoa grew, Tradin Organic decided to establish its own organic cocoa processing facility, Crown of Holland.
Crown of Holland opened its doors in 2013 in Middenmeer, the Netherlands. The processing facility is located in the sustainable business park, Agriport A7, merely a few kilometers north of the port of Amsterdam, which is a major hub for cocoa trade. The location in the sustainable business park aligns perfectly with our environmental and sustainability principles.
Opening a dedicated organic cocoa processing facility has enabled Tradin Organic to better monitor the quality and organic integrity of our products, throughout the entire supply chain. With our in-house quality control and state-of-the-art organic cocoa processing lines, we are able to offer our customers the best quality organic cocoa products.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Er wordt een ontzettende zure en misselijkmakende geur verspreid over het agriport wat werken in de omgeving enorm stoort. Onbegrijpelijk dat jullie hier gewoon mee wegkomen. Het is gewoon stankterreur!
A terribly sour and nauseating smell is spread over the agricultural port, which greatly disturbs working in the area. Incomprehensible that you just get away with this. It's just bad smell!

Ik hebt jaren in de Cacao gewerkt in Rotterdam,,en Amsterdam.
Ik voelt mij lekker in mijn vel ,,om weer binnen te zijn gekomen.
En dat ik weer het werk mag doen nu alleen in een andere opzet.
Geen balen meer tillen met de balenhaak,maar met een zakken hulptiller.
I start at Crown of Holland as a production employee.
I have worked for years in the Cacao in Rotterdam and Amsterdam.
I feel good in my own skin, to have come back in.
And that I can do the work again, now only in a different setup.
No more lifting bales with the bale hook, but with a bagging auxiliary lifter.
