★ ★ ★ ★ ★ On a Friday evening after arriving in Egmond we were lucky enough to get a table without a reservation. Long story short: We ended up reserving a table for the next day as well.
The service was excellent. Everyone was really friendly. The place is really lovely and photos fail to retell how nice the overall atmosphere is. The meals were great. The first day I had a Turbot (which the staff recommended) and the second evening I chose the 3-fish plate. Both were incredibly great! About the side dishes: The fried potatoes were interesting. The colowslaw was an utter revelation and nothing short of amazing. The prices were really appropriate for what was offered. Not cheap, but really good in relation to the great food that we were served. Unfortunately we only had 2 1/2 days in Emgond. I'm already looking forward to my next visit ... whenever that opportunity might come.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutely great place! Amazing decor, superb food! We got the 5 different fish plate and was a great experience. Also, there is a half a ship in the restaurant surrounding the bar. Too cool to explain, just go see it. Also, they are only closed Monday's, we went on a Tuesday.

The meals are cooked to perfection and not just looking great they taste fantastic too.
The restaurant itself is very comfortable and the staff are very friendly and helpful.
It’s wise to book and reserve a table because it is very popular.
