I think these are the 2 most interesting Dolmens with mother nature interfering with it.

What a natural force this tree has. Which will simply provide the support for the capstone. The thought that this tree is still so small and finds its way around the stone. Worth to visit this hunebed.

One of the most photogenic dolmens in the Netherlands, because of the striking trees that have grown against these dolmens. Hunebed D22 can be found a few meters from hunebed D21, which is why they are also called twins.

A somewhat smaller dolmen, right next to D 21, a somewhat larger dolmen. What stands out with this duo are the beautiful trees in the immediate vicinity. A fire has severely damaged the tree at D 22. In total there are 5 dolmens together and also burial mounds. A beautiful place, easily accessible for cyclists and walkers.

I visited about five Hunebedden north of Borger by cycling between them. It is a lovely way to pass the day alone or with friends. This particular Hunebedden is a double tomb with both relatively small sized. May all visitors respect a burial place of our ancestors.

An excellent prehistorical location of five dolmens, all photogenic (dolmen D21 the most) because they all stand in the middle of nature surrounded by trees. It's very special to see these dolmens from the Neolithic era with huge rocks that came from the southern part of Sweden and Finland during the Ice Age about 150,000 years ago. It gives some idea about the immense force of nature and how different things were. The dolmens were made in 4000BC-3000BC during the same time they learned to spin wool and to use it as clothing. It's that near to the evolution of mankind.
