Started going for lessons with him when we both lived and met in Dundee, Scotland, and for the past 2 and a bit years via Zoom / Skype. Dave is a great guitar player, musician and teacher. Dave is able to teach finger-style and I’ve really enjoyed learning Chet Atkins / Fleetwood Mac / Eva Cassidy / Clapton finger-style pieces with him. But I’ve also enjoyed the rock stuff too, from Jimi Hendrix to Metallica, Black Sabbath and more? Dave is happy to find sheet music for any pieces I want to learn and also to tab them out himself if none available. Dave’s knowledge of music theory is really superb and he has improved my knowledge massively of how to read music and understanding of scales / improvisation etc. Most of all Dave is a really cool and patient guy who makes learning fun. And whatever you’re into, from Jazz to Jimi; from blues to the Beatles; from classical to Cream; from metal to Bob Marley, Dave has got you covered ? ?????????
