★ ★ ★ ★ ★ De Alchemist is één van drie kantoorgebouwen die op de nominatie stonden om gesloopt te worden. Maar nu door particulier initiatief een andere bestemming gekregen hebben. In de Alchemist 2 zien we nu dat er zich een heleboel bedrijven gevestigd hebben met een sociale achtergrond.
Naast het feit dat er ca 7 kinderdagverblijven zijn is er veel meer waaronder begeleiding van 50+ ers die niet meer terug aan de bak komen. Die worden daar succesvol weer wel aan een nieuwe baan geholpen. Dat geldt ook voor jongvolwassenen ook zij worden de weg gewezen naar een betere toekomst. Ook worden inburgeraars taalcursussen aangeboden. Teveel om op te noemen. Geen halfzachte bezigheden maar echt werk. Ik was positief verbaasd.
Dit soort projecten onder één dak in lege kantoorgebouwen moet echt gepromoot worden in alle steden van Nederland.
The Alchemist is one of three office buildings that were nominated for demolition. But now through private initiative have been given a different purpose. In the Alchemist 2 we now see that a lot of companies with a social background have established themselves.
In addition to the fact that there are about 7 daycare centers, there is much more, including supervision of people over 50 who do not return to work. They are successfully given a new job there. This also applies to young adults, they are also shown the way to a better future. Integration language courses are also offered. Too many to mention. No semi-soft activities, but real work. I was positively surprised.
These types of projects under one roof in empty office buildings should really be promoted in all cities in the Netherlands.
