★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Leuke kleinschalige kinderboerderij. Een variatie aan dieren en toegankelijk voor kinderen om in contact met de dieren te kunnen zijn. Pluspunt: allerlei rijdend speelgoed zoals karren aanwezig.
Nice small-scale petting zoo. A variety of animals and accessible for children to be in contact with the animals. Plus point: all kinds of driving toys such as carts.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ De Boezemvriend is de naam van een Kinderboerderij in Oud-Beijerland. Hij is gevestigd aan de Boezemsingel wat ook een connectie met de naam geeft. Het is overigens de enige kinderboerderij in de gemeente. In de meeste Hoeksche Waardse gemeenten is maar één kinderboerderij. Het vergt natuurlijk veel aandacht. Het terrein en de hokken moeten bijgehouden worden en uiteraard de dieren verzorgd. En weet wel het is allemaal vrijwilligerswerk. Daarom mag Oud-Beijerland trots zijn op zijn kinderboerderij en hopen dat vandalen voortaan wegblijven. De kinderen vermaken zich best op de kinderboerderij met zowel de dieren als spelletjes met kinder tuingereedschap.
The Boezemriend is the name of a Children's Farm in Oud-Beijerland. It is located at the Boezemsingel which also gives a connection with the name. It is also the only petting zoo in the municipality. There is only one petting zoo in most Hoeksche Waard municipalities. Of course it requires a lot of attention. The grounds and pens must be kept and of course the animals taken care of. And know it is all voluntary work. That is why Oud-Beijerland can be proud of its petting zoo and hope that vandals will stay away from now on. The children can have fun at the petting zoo with both the animals and games with children's garden tools.
