het onstaan
Familie Broos heeft in 1985 “de Distel” overgenomen van Rien de Paauw. Toen was het enkel cafe aan straat met een feestzaal er achter. In 1992 hebben ze besloten om er een biljartcentrum achter aan vast te bouwen.
Eind jaren ‘90 werd de Distel overgenomen door hun zoon W. Broos. Toen de vraag naar het biljarten explosief toe nam en de feesten en partijen wat minder werden heeft laatstgenoemde het bedrijf in 2004 omgetoverd tot een van de grootste biljart- / poolcentra van Nederland. Dit bedrijf heb ik, Richard van Merrienboer, overgenomen in April 2018. Ik werk elke dag met grote passie aan het laten groeien en verbeteren van De Distel Biljarts!
