The magic of that brutalist architecture in the middle of this vibrant, full of contrast city ?, the people at the door checking the corona-check and the tickets and welcoming ?, the ambiance ?, the acustics in the concert hall ?, the sphere at the studio after the concert with the Django' like quartet ?, even the Friday's eve style at the Brasserie on the terrasse ?, all this made of going to the Mariinski night at the Gergiev Festival a holy experience ????Rotterdam

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Big and modern but very confusing. I was lost in every corner. Great for congresses but with better signs. It doesn't feel crowded even with thousants.

From the acoustics of the main hall right down to the refreshments during the break.

It was an honor to help out the technical staff last weekend of the famous artist Koray Avci. The friendly working people at the security and also at the bar were really helpful.
About De Doelen I really like the way how all seats are placed. Event with + 2000 people you can't sit too far from the stage. The sound and acoustic are phenomenal.
For parking I recommend to park at "Stadsgarage Schouwburgplein". You can walk to De Doelen. Will take you max 3 min.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The is an eclectic center for having a conference but it was definitely well-suited for it and the many espresso stations made the king hours go by quicker. The layout is not your typical layout so don’t be afraid to ask for directions. It has a nice open feel to it as well.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the finest concert halls in the Netherlands located right in the heart of this magnificent city! It provides rooms/halls for exhibitions and other events such as the International Film Festival Rotterdam. Throughout the festival the public can purchase various exciting merchandise. The volunteers managing the shop are extremely charming and helpful. Such a pleasure to peruse and buy an item or two!
