★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Walking past, one hardly sees the interior of this popular beer house and restaurant. But at peak times, a mostly-older (but loud) crowd fills this no-nonsense pair of first-floor rooms, either drinking the very wide selection of beers on tap, or eating from the small but sensibly chosen Dutch menu. The kitchen followed some quite complex cooking requests perfectly despite the evening costumers filling the bar to capacity. Working visitors should note the requests to avoid laptop use at certain tables.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ First of... the view is beautiful and this place is one of the coziest places in Amsterdam center. If you are lucky enough to sit by the window you will love it even more.
The coffee was good I ordered a spicy toasty with Jalapenos and it was delicious.
Service was also really good and fast, the lady taking care of us was always around checking if everything was good.
Finally prices for city center are ridiculously LOW.
2 people we had 2 coffees, sparkling water, toasty with Jalapenos and eggs on bread with ham and cheese and we paid something like 19.20.
Absolutely recommend it and I ll go again.
Dont forget to tip the service! ?

This is one of my favourite bars in Amsterdam, with a great atmosphere. Super lively on a weekend.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ After waiting for 15 min to finally order we waited 50 min for our food and got this sad bread for 6€. Staff is pretty slow and the one serving us was a bit rude. Didn’t even clean the tables.
Location is nice tho.
