★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Zeer vriendelijke ontvangst door eigenaresse Greta. Zij was het ook die iedere ochtend een geweldig lekker ontbijt verzorgde, vaak meer dan we op konden (handig voor de lunch).
We hadden een ruim appartement voor ons drieën, die geschikt was voor zes personen. Deze geweldige grote boerderij ligt in een ruim landschap met vergezichten. Dorpje en supermarkt op zo'n kilometer afstand.
 Very friendly welcome by owner Greta. It was also she who provided a wonderfully tasty breakfast every morning, often more than we could eat (handy for lunch).
We had a spacious apartment for the three of us, which could accommodate six people. This great large farm is situated in a spacious landscape with panoramic views. Village and supermarket about a kilometer away.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Het was een bijzondere gastvriendelijk onthaal. Alles was tot in de puntjes verzorgd. Een aanrader voor wie een fijne rustgevende verblijf zoekt na een heerlijke wadlooptocht. De ontbijtjes waren koninklijk! We voelen ons gezegend.
It was a special guest-friendly welcome. Everything was taken care of down to the last detail. Highly recommended for those looking for a nice restful stay after a wonderful mudflat hike. The breakfasts were royal! We feel blessed.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Zeer goede b&b in een rustige omgeving, enkele kilometers van het veer naar Ameland. We hadden een volledig appartement dat comfortabel was. Efficiënte aankomst en vertrek. Ontbijt was lekker en uitgebreid. Aanrader!
Very good b&b in a quiet area, a few kilometers from the ferry to Ameland. We had a full apartment which was comfortable. Efficient arrival and departure. Breakfast was tasty and extensive. Recommended!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great experience with great host. Sleeping in tent might not be the first you think of when travel with your family. But Glaming (glamorous camping) is something else. Full size tent as an apartment with two bedrooms one with double bed and other with two by two beds with ladder. Fridge, coffee machine, water kettle and stove. WC, shower and dish possibility in main building. Recommend this site when you want to bring family together and have fun discover the Netherlands

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ First we stayed only one night in the apartment for six people.
First the good; it's a very nice and quiet place (except for some frogs, rooster and horses). At first glance it looked well kept, sort of cozy and clean. Beds and facilities were clean and fresh.
The bad; we started preparing our meal with the oven and the hot plate. This combination stopped working after ten minutes, after a phonecall with the owner it was confirmed that both could not be used at the same time due to technical issues.. right.
Some planks for cutting, cutlery and other stuff in the kitchen, weren't really clean. The beds had some plastic underlayer, this caused them to get very hot. They probably put them there to keep the mattress clean, but I pulled the plastic thing of after an hour of sweating like a dancing donkey. The rooms were pretty hot to begin with. So I didn't sleep to well.
So at first it looked nice and well, but the things you actually need for food and sleep where bad. I'd say there is room for improvement at de Groote Medwerd.
