β β β β β Where to begin. Everything was just great. We were surprised by our four-bed room - it consisted of a living room in the ground floor and two bedrooms and a bathroom in the first floor.
This was so comfortable because we didn't disturb each other.
There was nearly everything in the room, iron and coffee maker included. I have never experienced such a well equipped hotel room.
The breakfast was excellent. The choice was not as wide as in big hotels but everything was great quality.
The surroundings of the hotel are astounding. There's a channel in front of the hotel and Edam is such a beautiful and peaceful town.
Amsterdam and other places are easily reachable by public transport, I recommend buying Amsterdam & Region Travel Ticket.

β β β β β Good spot, a quiet enough bar and seems popular with locals. It also appears to be the best place for live music (judging by the number of posters advertising the place we found around Edam) Was there at the weekend late afternoon and there were several locals enjoying a drink by the canal. The barman was efficient and recommended local beers for us to try.

β β β β β The accommodations were really good, but the staff were amazing. I have stayed at Harmonie more than a few times and would recommend it without question. Itβs just 10 miles from Amsterdam with a 24 hour bus service, so no reason to stay in the bustling city. Just have a great time and enjoy a wonderful little village and itβs incredibly amazing people. I have to admit, the music is pretty great too, but then again, Sim Case did work for Sony music.

β β β β β Amazing feeling in this small city with its docks inside the city. The persons who contribute to this hotel are so nice& kind and have a good knowledge of English. The room is nice having enough beds and also a small kitchen with a fridge. Worth it if you want to go and visit Amsterdam since itβs around 30 mins till the downtown of the city.
