About De Kachelhout Concurrent
De Kachelhout Concurrent levert een assortiment van vers en oven-gedroogd haardhout. Het voordeel van oven-gedroogd haardhout is dat u direct het hout kunt gaan stoken. De volledige productie van de Kachelhout Concurrent vind plaats in Nederland, in onze eigen fabriek te Oud Gastel. Wij verwerken uitsluitend hout met het FSC keurmerk, wat betekent dat ons haardhout louter en alleen uit verantwoorde en duurzame bosbouw wordt verkregen.
De Kachelhout Concurrent heeft een eigen droogkamer, waar het haardhout wordt gedroogd tot het het gewenste vochtpercentage bevat voor een optimaal stookresultaat. Voor het verwarmen van onze droogkamer maken we gebruik van de houtresten, die overblijven na de productie van ons haardhout. Zo streven we ernaar u niet alleen een hoge kwaliteit haardhout te leveren met een optimale calorische waarde, maar ook de ecologische footprint van onze productie zo klein mogelijk te houden.
