Echt een aanrader! Had a great night! Eaten drive-by pizza and then chatted by the campfire. Slept well in comfortable beds and the tents were nicely decorated. Really recommended!

Geweldige plek om met vrienden lang buiten te tafelen, aan de luxe bar te hangen, en vooral heerlijk te slapen in de geweldige tenten. Zo’n mooie locatie, je waant je direct op vakantie! En vooral een heel leuk team die een super-ambiance neerzetten. Aanrader! I celebrated my thirtieth birthday here! L	Lex van L on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Afgelopen weekend heb ik met twee vriendinnen gekampeerd bij De Kool, de Geit en de Wolf. Het was een unieke ervaring om een nacht bij het fort te slapen. Midden in de natuur, op zo'n mooie historische plek. Het team heeft ons goed ontvangen en we waren in alle gemakken voorzien. We konden gebruik maken van de keuken, de stijlvolle bar en hebben in de buitenlucht kunnen barbecueën. Kamperen deluxe dus! Een ontzettende aanrader! Last weekend I camped with two friends at De Kool, the Goat and the Wolf. It was a unique experience to spend a night at the fort. In the middle of nature, in such a beautiful historic place. The team received us well and we were fully equipped. We were able to use the kitchen, the stylish bar and have the opportunity to barbecue in the open air. So camping deluxe! Highly recommended!

Hele fijne tent voorzien van alle nodige gemakken, prima bedden, verlichting, stroom en een mooi buiten plekje. Deze lui hadden het Fort Abcoude omgetoverd tot een hele fijne vakantiebestemming. Prachtige ambiance, open keuken, alles kon en mocht. Onze dochter van 4 heeft het er elke dag over. Lekker eten, zwemmen, bootje varen, marshmallows, pizzabakker. Alles voor de complete ervaring. We hadden ook geluk met de mensen. Dat zijn nu vrienden. In een paar woorden: Jullie moeten dit volgend jaar weer doen en dan zijn wij er weer bij! Cabbage, Goat, Wolf was an extremely pleasant experience. Very pleasantly received. Everything was possible. Very nice tent with all necessary conveniences, good beds, lighting, electricity and a nice outside spot. These people had transformed Fort Abcoude into a very nice holiday destination. Beautiful ambiance, open kitchen, everything was possible and allowed. Our 4-year-old daughter talks about it every day. Good food, swimming, boating, marshmallows, pizza baker. Everything for the complete experience. We were also lucky with the people. They are friends now. In a few words: You have to do this again next year and we will be there again!

We hebben de omgeving verkend met de fiets. De omgeving van Abcoude is prachtig en je kunt er heerlijk fietsen. Ook een dagje met de sloep varen is een aanrader. Kortom, een fijne, goed verzorgde week gehad! Helemaal top! Last month we spent a mid-week in Fort Abcoude. Slept wonderfully in the tent. Breakfast, lunch and dinner were superb. We explored the area by bicycle. The surroundings of Abcoude are beautiful and you can enjoy cycling. A day trip with the sloop is also recommended. In short, had a nice, well-organized week! Absolutely great!

De bar en keuken is super sfeervol en gezellig. En de mensen die er werken geweldig. Heerlijk om een eigen plekje te hebben in de tent naast het fort waar van alles gebeurt. Camped with some friends in the super luxury tents at the fort. A truly unique experience to be able to sleep there. The bar and kitchen are super attractive and cozy. And the people who work there are great. It's great to have your own place in the tent next to the fort where everything happens.
M	Meike Negen on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Afgelopen donderdag hebben we met 2 gezinnen op Fort Abcoude gekampeerd. Heerlijk om na een drukke werkdag te landen op een plek waar je je direct ‘op vakantie’ waant. En dat zo dicht bij huis. We werden verrast door de komst van Holy Moly Pizza, die in een uitklap-tuc tuc op de binnenplaats verrukkelijke verse pizza’s bakte, waarna we de rest van de avond heerlijk relaxt rondom de vuurkorf hebben gezeten op het veldje waar de tenten staan. De kinderen vonden de aanwezigheid op het Fort één groot ontdekkingsavontuur. Ook gelijk een leuke kans om wat meer over de historie van Nederland te leren en dat ter plekke te zien. Verder heerlijke bedden en comfortabele tenten. En de volgende dag weer fris en opgeladen aan het werk! Kortom: Een aanrader om er even met het gezin uit te zijn! We were surprised by the arrival of Holy Moly Pizza, who baked delicious fresh pizzas in a folding tuc tuc in the courtyard, after which we spent the rest of the evening relaxing around the fire pit in the field where the tents are located. The children thought the presence at the Fort was one great discovery adventure. Also a great opportunity to learn more about the history of the Netherlands and see it on the spot. Furthermore, comfortable beds and comfortable tents. And back to work fresh and charged the next day! In short: Highly recommended to go out with the family!

Locatie, aankleding en eten en wijn: alles klopte waardoor er een heel fijne en bijzondere sfeer ontstond.
