Lots of variety of accommodation . Good staff . Facilities well maintained . They are handling covid situations very well, it's a good option to visit in these times where you can truly isolate yourself . Swimming pool staff was a very arrogant for no reason though .

Well organized, clean camp sites. Clean ablution blocks, which are being cleaned numerous times a day. Great in- and outdoor play areas for kids. Super indoor swimming pool with 3 really good slides. Well stocked little supermarket (a bit pricey though, which is not unusual, I guess). Nice restaurant with food to come back (however not necessarily to rave about) and additional to-go food outlets with standard take-out food options. We are here for the second time and will be back!

Nice holiday park. We stayed in a 6 people house, it was very beautiful, nicely decorated and clean. There were 2 televisions, 2 bathrooms, 3 bedrooms, oven etc. Everything needed. Playground is also nice. Ofc, pools and indoor activities are closed because of corona but still we had a nice vacation.

horrible cancellation policy, and even worse customer service. Be very careful with the extras you purchase. We included a rental 2 electric bikes when when making a reservation, in my experience you have this option, so you can guarantee that you get these bikes when you're there. But when i wanted to cancel them, apparently I can cancel but wont get my money back. The person on yhe phone was also quite rude about it. And WHY would i then cancel without receiving my money back? so the camping can just give it for someone else and earn some extra? sound like a nice scheme. and in this case, how is it beneficial to book it via webiste, rather then on the place... anyway, we expected a nice getaway, and now i have a very bitter taste about it.. not even looking forward Updated my review after the stay: So tge funny thing happened and we were booked for another dates, good thing there were available spots. Not only we got upgraded to a pitch with electricity for free, but also got refunded for the bikes (yaay). Overall its a very nice place once you're there. The sight is beautiful! The territory is very big, and there're different types of 'landscape', we really enjoyes staying in the dunes. There's a supermarket fery close by, and many shops and cafes. The bathroom unit is very clean and easily accessible. Reception personnel is very friendly and helpful. Taking off one star for the mess with reservation, and a bigger mess with bike rentals.

I stayed in De Krim with a friend in late May this year, we loved the facilities, the location and the nice cottage with garden so much that I decided to book a long weekend in Mid August for me and other friends, I made sure to include the cancellation policy to make sure we were covered considering covid. In June, two months before my reservation, I emailed De Krim telling them we had an emergency change of plan and we couldn’t stay at the park in August, as we had already payed in full, I proposed, if a refund wasn’t possible, to move the dates. De Krim replied saying that a change of date wasn’t possible and a refund is possible only if we proved that there was an actual emergency (in our case it was health related issues of one of my friends, which we didn’t want to disclose for privacy reasons), they sent us a form to fill in Dutch in asking for the type of illness, medications to be taken, phone number of the doctor etc, we refused to fill this sensitive information and asked for any other options, they didn’t reply to our emails anymore. Their terms and conditions for the cancellation policy are only available in dutch and they allow for refunds only in certain strict conditions (e.g. proven medical issues, injuries or death etc), despite the fact that I tried to cancel or rebook my holiday two months ahead of time, they didn’t show any willingness to find a solution (let alone refund me). I had to contact the consumer association in the Netherlands and the Juridisch Loket in order for De Krim to reply to my message and finally agree to refund me. It is such a pity that such a good holiday park in such a stunning location treats their paying customers so poorly, making it hard for them to understand the conditions of rebooking or cancelling and providing incredibly strict customer service. I wouldn’t recommend any of my friends to book a stay at De Krim.

Disgusting room full of cigarette smoke. They had a sticker on the door, no dogs / smoking allowed. Probably placed it before we gaines entrance. Filthy room, smells like a dirty underground poker backroom.

We had a midweek stay in late September in one of the new safari tents. We were really impressed with the accomodation. The kitchen was far better equipped than we expected and it was lovely inside. The shower was also amazing. The beds were comfortable and the whole set up of the tent really maximised the space. We had some really strong winds while we were there and it was pretty noisy (of course...it's a tent) but we stayed cosy and dry. The site is lovely. The pool complex is excellent with some great slides and a good area for small children too. The only criticism was that the floor was quite slippery and you really had to take care. The indoor playground was also really good. We didn't really make use of the restaurants but they looked really nice. The whole park felt very community centred and had a lovely feel. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay at the park and on Texel and would recommend it as a different Dutch experience

One of the best family places I’ve been too. Indoor swimming pool with very nice 4 slides. A nice splash area for toddlers and a small outdoor warm pool ???
