De carnavalsoptocht in Boskoop was zaterdag weer een groot succes. De optocht over de Zijde, met tientallen wagens van carnavalsvereniging De Krooshappers en verklede Boskopers zorgden ervoor dat de stemming er goed in zat zoals gebruikelijk.
Aan de carnavalsoptocht deden dertig wagens en zo'n achthonderd deelnemers mee. Langs de route waren zo'n tienduizend tot vijftienduizend toeschouwers uit de verre omtrek te vinden.
Carnavalsvereniging De Krooshappers vierde tevens een jubileum. De Krooshappers bestaan 45 jaar.
Beste mensen komt dit zien echt een dikke aanrader om hier na toe te gaan.In een woord helemaal geweldig daar in Boskoop allemaal Toppers daar.

The carnival parade in Boskoop was a great success again on Saturday. The parade across the Zijde, with dozens of cars from carnival association De Krooshappers and Boskopers in costume, ensured that the mood was good, as usual.
Thirty cars and about eight hundred participants took part in the carnival procession. About ten thousand to fifteen thousand spectators from far and wide could be found along the route.
Carnival association De Krooshappers also celebrated an anniversary. The Krooshappers have been around for 45 years.
Dear people, come and see this really highly recommended to visit here. In a word, absolutely great there in Boskoop, all Toppers there.

Boskoop heeft zaterdag weer laten zien waar zij goed in is: in carnaval vieren. Tientallen versierde wagens reden mee in de jaarlijkse optocht van carnavalsvereniging De Krooshappers.
Ongeveer 15.000 mensen stonden langs de route om 72 praalwagens te bekijken. ’s Avonds is er nog een groot feest in Flora Boskoop, de thuishaven van De Krooshappers: het uitverkochte Optochtbal. Nadat in Flora vorig weekend Carnaval 2018 werd afgetrapt, was het vrijdagavond goed druk tijdens Bal Masque. De laatste feesten zijn komende zondag en maandag.
De carnavalsoptocht in Boskoop { Kwakveen } is tevens de grootste en de mooiste en de aller leukste van Zuid Holland.
Er komen mensen komen van heinde en ver naar { Kwakveen } zo heet
Boskoop tijdens de Carnaval. Op zeker een aanrader om dit prachtige evenement te bezoeken.
En dat is zeer zeker de moeite waard, altijd gezellig druk.
De carnavalsoptocht is zonder noemenswaardige incidenten verlopen. ‘De sfeer was uitstekend, het was droog en er waren mooie wagens’, zei de organisatie zeer tevreden na afloop.

The carnival parade in Boskoop { Kwakveen } is also the largest and the most beautiful and the most fun in South Holland.
People come from far and wide to { Kwakveen } so hot
Boskoop during the Carnival. Definitely a must to visit this wonderful event.

The carnival procession passed without significant incidents. "The atmosphere was excellent, it was dry and there were beautiful cars", the organization said very satisfied afterwards.
