Hans Voorn is geschoold vanuit een werktuigbouwkundige en bouwkundige opleiding. Als ontwerper heeft hij diverse huizen, interieurs e.d. vormgegeven. In zijn werk als calculator bij een groot aannemersbedrijf is kennis en ervaring opgedaan in het begroten van werk. In 1978 beëdigd als makelaar werd eerst invulling gegeven aan alle makelaarswerkzaamheden. De tijdgeest was een andere en het werk overzichtelijker dan nu. In 1984 werd de keuze gemaakt voor het eigen bedrijf als ook die voor de begeleiding van de koper in het proces naar zijn nieuwe thuis. Een specialisme waaraan tot en met eind 2021 aan werd geschaafd en verbeterd. Je kunt immers elke dag iets leren. Zolang je er maar voor openstaat.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Hiring Hans to help us with buying a property in Maastricht was the best decision we made. He is very professional and has a thorough knowledge of the area and its market. Hans helped us realize and understand which features were truly important for us.
His assistance during the viewings was fantastic! Like the Sherlock Holmes of houses, he arrived at the viewing with a ladder and tools and climbed on the roof to check it out. We received from him a very elaborate report for the house that we were interested in, with every information you can think of. We felt very safe with him.
During the bidding process his know-how was indispensable. His style of handling a bidding is not only professional but also smart and fair. I was deeply impressed with him.
More generally, Hans answered all our questions with kindness, wisdom and our best interests at his heart. We felt really supported.
Do not look any further. Especially if you are an expat, the Dutch market and procedures are complicated! Hans takes you by the hand from the first wish to get a house and walks with you until the notary. It is a scary and insecure journey but as he said, he was our knight ready to fight for us! We were lucky and found a home quickly, which we love, but in all honesty we felt a bit sad for not being able to spend more time with him.

I appreciated the care he took in understanding and discussing my requirements for a home, in explaining the characteristics of the neighborhoods of Maastricht to a newcomer, and in carefully explaining the process to someone who does not yet speak Dutch.
