★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wonderful market. Great place to get all your fruit, vegetables, meat and more at the lowest prices. The salesmen are fun and helpful, and always have good advice for what's in season. Lots of nice local specialties are sold here too, the local cheese and nuts are amazing.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Open public market in Enschede- the Netherlands where you can buy fresh produce at very reasonable prices! I come here to shop driving from Germany ( I live near the border). Saturday is the best day to come to buy fish and other sea foods, veggies, flowers, different kinds of cheese, eat yummy foods which they cook right in front of you! Lots of possibilities for shopping! They got basement parking ( can be expensive!) Around the market square, are plenty of shops, and there’s a mall! You can spend a whole day shopping and eating here!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lovely Dutch open street market. Shop around for some real bargains especially Fruit and Veg. Nice Dutch bread and Cheese and if you haven't tried Dutch fast food take the plunge. Don't worry about the language English widely spoken by most stall holders.Word of warning beware of people driving around in their mobility scooters as they don't always stop for you more you WILL stop for them. Usual trick is for them to come up directly behind you leaving you nowhere to go, especially if you are waiting in a queue.
