★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 'De Meent' Windmill is located at Langerak, South Holland, Netherlands. The original mill was built in 1912 as part of an unemployment relief project but it fell into disrepair and was scrapped in 1960.
The present meadow mill, called 'De Meent' was rebuilt at the beginning of January 2006 & located in almost the same place as its predecessor, next to De Westermolen at Nieuwpoortseweg-1 in Langerak.
NB: nearby on the same site is a 'mini-windmill' that's used for pumping water.
