Sandra: “Ik ben geboren en getogen in Friesland, maar inmiddels woon ik alweer 15 jaar in Amsterdam. Direct na mijn afstuderen in 2010 ben ik op de ACTA (universiteit) gaan werken bij de afdeling Kindertandheelkunde als docent en assistent onderzoeker, dit om me nog meer te verdiepen in mijn vakgebied. Daarnaast ben ik in een algemene praktijk gaan werken om ervaring op te doen. In de jaren die daarop volgden kwam ik steeds meer tot de conclusie dat ik veel meer vanuit mijn eigen behoefte wou gaan werken. Een eigen praktijk hebben betekent heel veel voor mij; Ik waardeer de vrijheid en onafhankelijkheid die het biedt. Ik creëer mijn eigen regels en waarden, ik bepaal elk esthetisch detail van mijn bedrijf. Tandheelkunde wordt vaak gezien als een nogal ouderwets beroep dat klinisch en zwaar is, en dat kan soms behoorlijk intimiderend zijn. Ik probeer meer het menselijke element in de industrie te brengen en de clichés van dit eeuwenoude beroep te ontkrachten.”

You can plan an appointment quick and easy through her website, plus you receive a reminder the day before. My teeth have never been in a better condition!

Also, Sandra is really friendly and made me feel comfortable right from the start. What's most important however, is that I walked in with a full set of yellowish stained teeth and walked out half an hour later with a radiant smile that I'm not scared to flaunt to the world! Thanks again Sandra!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A visit to the dental hygienist isn't generally considered to be very pleasant. A visit to Sandra's practice, however, rather is. Sandra is diligent, knowledgeable, and naturally makes you feel at ease throughout the treatment. The practice is beautifully decorated, light, and located in the lovely Spaces building in the heart of Amsterdam. Excellent on all fronts; highly recommended.

I found Sandra's place online and the reviews here were really helpful. Sandra has done a fantastic job making me feel comfortable and the end result on my teeth (and mind) is just perfect. White and clean teeth, didn't hurt. The office is located in the beautiful SPACES on Vijzelstraat, which is also a plus. Highly recommended!

I'm adding a few notes to my initial review a year later, after a third time at Sandra's practice. I was twice taken care of by Sandra, and this last time by Ettie. The arrival of new colleagues is communicated, so it was no surprise that I may see someone else than Sandra. I was very happy with Ettie, she is also very professional and the cleaning went smoothly. No pain, no stress, all done with kindness and a smile. A plus for me, Ettie pronounced my first name correctly when she greeted me. A small thing for many but it shows care, so it matters to me. I still highly recommend this practice.

Visiting Sandra's practice was an unexpected delight - she is very professional and caring, always taking that extra step to make you feel welcomed. Her office is modern and light, situated in the sprawling Spaces building that is very central too. All in all, I can highly recommend Sandra to anyone looking for exceptional dental hygiene care.
