Sie hat sich echt Zeit genommen und uns alles erklärt. Ein Besuch echt wert. Really nice trip. The owner was also super friendly and, even though she was alone, showed us around the windmill (€ 5 per person). She really took her time and explained everything to us. Well worth a visit.

Wir waren vormittags da und konnten live mithelfen, wie die Segel gesetzt werden und die Mühle in Betrieb genommen wird. Für Kinder und Erwachsene in jedem Fall ein Erlebnis. Das Windrad hat sich mit einer Umfangsgeschwindigkeit von 80km/h gedreht. Die anschließende Führung, war genial, technische Details wurden super erklärt, für die vielen Fragen unserer Kinder und auch von uns Erwachsenen ??? unfassbar auch die Technik die vor 200 Jahren angewendet wurde und bis zum heutigen Tag funktioniert und weitergeführt wird. In der Mühle fühlte man sich wie in einem anderen Jahrhundert. Wir fanden sie toll! Anschließend haben wir als Souvenir und originelles Mitbringsel, gemahlens Mehl und Honig vom kleinen Laden daneben gekauft. Our children saw this mill from afar and we went there spontaneously. Im kleinen Laden kann man auch das Mehl, Eier, Eis und Getränke kaufen. Mich hat die "alte" Technik sehr beeindruckt und ich hoffe es gelingt dem Besitzer noch, wenigstens seinen Eigenstrom mit der Windmühle zu erzeugen. Worth a visit!
