About De Spelerij - Uitvinderij
Maar ook volwassenen, zelfs de advocaten en directeuren, herkennen dat fijne gevoel om volledig op te gaan in spel, verwondering en verbazing.
Dat gevoel komt geheid naar boven, zo gauw je deze ongewone locatie in Dieren betreedt. De gekke installaties die Jos heeft gemaakt lijken nergens op, maar zitten heel vernuftig in elkaar.
Hun constructies zijn als geraamtes: je ziet precies hoe de onderdelen met elkaar verweven zijn. Hoe als je hieraan draait, dat onderdeel in beweging komt. Zien hoe iets wérkt fascineert oneindig.
En zelf iets maken dat werkt, is misschien wel het mooiste dat er is. Ook, en nog steeds, voor Jos.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Or team from work went there for a teambuilding session. The object was to make a structure by using scrap material. Welding, grinding, cutting, metal, wood and everything we could find in their scrapheap was allowed. The objective was to 'shoot' a tennisbal as far as possible.
Working together, thinking in possibilities and finally for our team to win made it a nice experience. I guess doing it in summer would even be better but it didn't rain so I shouldn't complain.
As far as I could see they also have lots of fun for kids. Trying out to bake you own bread on a stick. Playing, climbing and lots of other things to do.
Fun for everybody.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing playground and workshop for kids. Workshop is especially fun. Just enough danger to be exciting, not enough to be risky. For the full experience it's best to wait until your kid is old enough to follow directions, but younger kids can also have fun.

For his birthday, my first son made his own book in there and he enjoyed the other activities a lot.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Large, child-centered playground with attractions that your child has never seen before - and will not forget. As an adult, the place may seem makeshift and potentially dangerous, however, all attractions are technically sound (checked every day). The indoor “uitvinderij” (invention hall) lets your children invent an construct their own creations using (childproofed) saws, glue guns and other machinery. The restaurant is simple in nature and in addition you can also bake your own bread and popcorn. Absolute recommendation for the age group 4 - 11. There is also a small pool, with a construction that allows children to regulate water flow through its fountains.
