We arriveerden om vier uur en wilde meteen niet meer de deur uit Een prachtige, stijlvolle, gezellige zitkamer met tuin. Een tevens romantische slaapkamer met de sfeervolle ramen, een luxe badkamer en keukentje. Heerlijk eigen huisje met alles wat je je maar kan wensen. De inrichting en styling verdient een 10+ met gouden griffel. Zalig verpozen en heerlijk gegeten aan de eettafel met een zeer culinair met bloemen opgemaakt 3 gangen diner van restaurant de Basiliek. Op en top genieten. Met vrije toegang tot de synagoge en de boeken aldaar die ik op mijn gemak in de heerlijke zitstoel heb zitten lezen over de joodse bevolking van appingedam en kamp westerbork. We besloten de volgende dag na een heerlijk ontbijt op onze terugreis kamp westerbork te bezoeken, waar tevens het melkwegpad leidt langs informatie over planeten, de radioschotels en een prachtige wandeling door de natuur terug. Erg interessant en de moeite waard. Appingedam is trouwens een mooi plaatsje met hangende keukens en grachtjes met witte bruggetjes. What a special location, a Jewish Sunday school and access to the adjacent oldest synagogue in the Netherlands, which is 135 years old. We arrived at four and immediately did not want to leave the house. A beautiful, stylish, cozy sitting room with garden. A romantic bedroom with attractive windows, a luxurious bathroom and kitchenette. Lovely private house with everything you could wish for. The furnishing and styling earns a 10+ with a golden pen. Relax and enjoy a delicious meal at the dining table with a very culinary 3-course dinner from restaurant de Basiliek, decorated with flowers. Enjoy it all. With free access to the synagogue and the books there that I have read at ease in the lovely chair about the Jewish population of Appingedam and Camp Westerbork. The next day, after a delicious breakfast on our return journey, we decided to visit camp Westerbork, where the Milky Way Path also leads past information about planets, the radio dishes and a beautiful walk back through nature. Very interesting and worth it. Appingedam is also a beautiful place with hanging kitchens and canals with white bridges.
