Tijger- of Wespspin (Argiope bruennichi, ♀) in de Zompewei met een Moerasspinkhaan als prooi (linksboven de spin). In de weide zijn meerdere exemplaren gezien 20-8-2019).
De Wespspin is ook al in 2015 in de Zumpe waargenomen (waarnemingen.nl).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Heerlijk om even een wandeling te maken. Weer of geen weer. Wel even uitkijken voor de loslopende runderen, maar als je goed om je heen kijkt (sowieso goed om te doen hier) is het geen probleem. Mooie bossages, veel water en mooie planten en bloemen.
Lovely to take a walk. Rain or shine. Watch out for the stray cattle, but if you take a good look around you (good thing to do here anyway) it is no problem. Beautiful bushes, lots of water and beautiful plants and flowers.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Prachtig gebied om te wandelen. Afwisselend nat, droog, bos, vlakte. Met bankjes midden op terrein (op vlonder) met fraai zicht.
Beautiful area for walking. Alternately wet, dry, forest, plain. With benches in the middle of the site (on a platform) with beautiful views.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Schitterend natuurgebied, deels nog in ontwikkeling. Het laat al aardig zien hoe het landschap er uit zag toen er nog een natuurlijke waterberging was.
Beautiful nature reserve, partly still under development. It already shows what the landscape looked like when there was still a natural water storage.
