The label is working with Deepgrooves since the startup of their Pressingplant. Our experience in general is very positive. Starting a company always has a bumpy way to grow with working out the kinks. But Deepgrooves had a very personal and rational approach to deal with with faults, and we always found our way. The quality of the paper and vinyl materials are from a high level. The sound of the pressings as well. Within these Covid times it's sometimes hard to make tight agreements, but Deepgrooves always tries to make the best out of it for everyone. A+ experience if you look for a plant with a personal approach.

We have been a client for almost 3 years now and deepgrooves won our hearts by always delivering superb sounding vinyl. Especially the quality of their sleeves is unmatched. Deepgrooves pressed the last 8 releases of my label and I can only say that the quality is impressive in terms of sound quality and printing. I have worked with many other pressing plants and this is by far the best one. Even during these strange covid19 times they were able to deliver everything without too much delay. Recommended!

Final and updated review: I'll start with the pro's and cons list, as a tl;dr. The more in depth explanation follows below. Pro's: - Amazing customer portal which has plenty of documentation on what Deepgrooves expects you to upload, and gives you a status of your project. - Affordable vinyl. - Both the vinyl pressing and sleeve printing are of outstanding quality. Any defective pressings or sleeves will be shipped alongside the final order for free. Always nice to have a few extra copies for personal use. - The shipping partner (Mainfreight) delivers ridiculously fast, and allows you to track the package with an in depth description of the parcel's latest status. Con's: - Just the one thing, really. Communication, or lack of proactive communcation. Explanation follows below. 2021 has been extremely tough for the vinyl market. There are a lot of things going on of which the average vinyl consumer has no idea. I recognize that, and respect that. Pressing plants are doing their utter best to meet deadlines, or at least limit delays to the bare minimum. That being said, an occasional BCC to all customers with outstanding orders whose deadlines might not be met, would do wonders. Nobody likes to bring or receive bad news, but it's part of a commercial process. After I dropped a complaint, the people at Deepgrooves (thank you, Frank) took note of my grievances, and decided to keep me in the loop via phone calls. Upon realizing how great communication went through there, I can only recommend giving Deepgrooves a call, if you have any worries about the project. The vinyl sounds great, and knowing what we know now, we'll probably be doing business with Deepgrooves next time again.

In cases of any problems or predicaments, Deepgrooves has always been willing to cooperate on finding a fair solution. and of course the marbling of their vinyl has been on par with some of veteran pressing plants.
